Meet Iris J Peacock Iris J Peacock was a typical peafowl. She was lacking in color and dull (in her mind) beside Thaddeus J Peacock, her husband. As time went on, Iris realized her feathers were getting duller. She became distressed and decided that she was going to do something about it. After all, she was a very creative peafowl. Iris found some beautiful pebbles, decided to string them together into a necklace and wrapped them around her neck. She found a mirror and looked at herself. Wow! Was she ever excited. The necklace looked great. It brought out the colors in her feathers and made them look brighter. . . She wondered what else she could make for herself. First of all, she needed some earrings to go with the necklace. So . . . Iris began to find more pretty objects, put them together and accessorize herself - she found so many to brighten herself up. She was having so much fun.

Iris, The Designer Iris made necklaces, earrings, bracelets, brooches, toe rings, shoes, handbags, small purses and wraps (for the cold weather). She was the prettiest and most beautiful peafowl in all of the area. She no longer felt dowdy and dull. She felt fabulously gorgeous, beautiful and so content. It occurred to Iris one day, that she should share her great finds with the other "girls" in the neighborhood. Thus began her journey of designing and selling baubles and pretty things to her friends and neighbors. Soon all of the "girls" felt great and strutted around just like the peacocks. However, they still let the guys think that they were the most handsome creatures in all the land.

	Teresa's most prized possession is a beautiful, delicate, hand crocheted peacock done by her mother, Clytee Parker Pitts. Her jewelry line is dedicated to her mother and the beautiful inspired creations that she made during her lifetime. Clytee Parker Pitts (1918-2003).
